Dear Crew: We Luvz Yah ALL for your support.
You Should Beat Your Chest
To all those that have supported our magazine and its launch at the Fine Food Australia Exhibition in Melbourne during September, we send a special thank you. Without your heartfelt support there wouldn't be a magazine.
The response from the show was "At last there is a magazine for us." Our original circulation of 6,000 has moved to around 8,000 for our next issue with a number of companies and interested operators taking up the Free one-year subscription. We know this will grow even more with our next issue.
PMQ magazine is proving to be as popular as the "Yellow Pages" as a reference guide for the pizza industry. A quick ring around survey assured us that PMQ had been read and referred to for a number of ideas and sourcing suppliers.
A number of companies' have shown confidence in us as a knowledgeable guide by renewing their advertising commitment and new friends are joining in to be part of the success story in the growing industry. Steve and Linda Green from PMQ (USA) were encouraged during their recent trip to Australia by the enthusiasm shown by a number of those who were prepared to share their stories of success within the pizza industry and point out the differences between the Australasian market and the U.S. The passion is as strong here as it is in the States. Pizza is an international food… owned by no one.
Wanted: YOU!
Now what we need is a good mix of interesting stories and contributors. Do you know someone that has a point of difference, a story that needs to see the light of day? Then take the time to let us know. We'll get our bloodhounds on the track. ANYTHING PIZZA, i.e.; operator success stories, something unique, a new invention or item for the industry. Do you have any suggestions on how to make your magazine the way you do your pizzas… tailor-made?
Success!
Our second issue of PMQ comes to you with stories on the Best of the Best Pizza Challenge and the first Masters Pizza Challenge, Big Dave and other regulars. Future stories: Bush Tucker Pizzas, Scuzzi Pizzeria, La Porchetta Pizzeria, Marketing Strategies, Financing Your Business's Future and Do You See RED in Your Bottom Line.
